I am sorry you could not complete the purpose for which you visited the site.  The way the 4Q survey is set up is that you are asked at the beginning of the session if you are willing to take the survey when you are leaving the website.  If you agree, then there is a pop-under window with the survey which you can bring up when you are done with visiting the site, and bringing up that window.  In your case, it appears that the pop-under window opened accidentally before you were ready and asked you to fill it in.

Thanks for filling in the survey - this is a good piece of feedback for the survey providers.
