Sorry you could not find the free tax help in Chicago; the IRS and VITA expends a lot of time and effort to get the word out about VITA services for taxpayers, so this site does not focus on that. Instead it chooses to focus on getting volunteers the information they provide in order to better serve taxpayers. Whatever information is useful to taxpayers is a bonus and side benefit.
