I am sorry you felt there was too much information to read, and would appreciate comments on what pieces of information should be added or removed.  There is a fine line between sufficient and too much information, and it is different for different individuals.  The primary role that includes extended training for new volunteers is that of tax preparer using tax preparation software.

Thank you for taking the time to fill in the site survey form, and I’m sorry you were not successful in learning about volunteer opportunities.  Requirements for becoming a volunteer are fairly straightforward, but since each site, city, county and state may have additional requirements that are not generally available, the site offers a way to get started.  The online signup information is routed to the appropriate SPEC relationship manager who then contacts the volunteer.  The suggestion to create a diagram/flow chart is one to be considered seriously when a clear uniform sign-up process merges.
